THE TRUTH ABOUT VITAMIN E

Not all Vitamin E is the same.  In nature, there are actually eight forms of vitamin E, with alpha-tocopherol being the most abundant in the human body.

Because tocopherol is the most abundant form of vitamin E, two things have happened over the years:

1) The most common form of vitamin E found in multivitamins and other conventional supplements is tocopherol; and

2) Over the years many industries have neglected the benefit of non-tocopherol vitamin E molecules (such as tocotrienol form of vitamin E).

However, we have reconsidered the focus on this conventional wisdom, as not all forms of vitamin E are equal in their function and benefit.  For instance, when ingested, tocotrienols possess powerful neuroprotective, anti-cancer and cholesterol lowering properties that are often not exhibited by tocopherols.

To top it off, tocotrienol possesses as much as 40-60 times the antioxidant power of the vitamin E found tocopherols (the most common vitamin E supplement form).

This is why in our research and formulation of Tahitian Oil, we focused on ingredients high in tocotrienol vitamin E, for maximum potency, efficacy and benefit.

The oils we use in Tahitian Oil are rich in tocotrienols, which have been shown to limit or delay skin cell damage caused by free radicals.

Essentially, the Tahitian Oil formulation contains natural ingredients which fight damage leading to premature aging, fine lines and wrinkles.

In our quest of developing highly-potent natural formulations to fight skin damage and premature aging, Marine + Vine is committed to ensuring that the ingredients we use are sustainably and ethically-sourced.
